Two month check

Well, Emma went for her two month check on Thursday. She is weighing in at 7 lbs. 10 oz and 20 1/2 in. The doctor thinks she will be petite like Eric. She has a very tiny heart murmur which he has never heard before this visit. He says it's nothing to worry about though. Besides that he says she is still perfect. The shots were AWFUL!!!!!!!!!!!! She had thee total. One of the shots had three vaccines in it.SO she got five vaccines all together. It was the worst thing in the world. I think I cried harder then Emma did. As soon as she got the shots I gave her my boob and she was fine. I continues to cry but eventually stopped. It was the most heart wrenching cry I have ever heard in my entire life. She goes back in two months which I am sure she gets more shots then.

I have to go back to work on Wednesday. My boss said I could go back for 1/2 days for a few weeks if needed. I might have to do that because this is going to be horrific. I hate that I have to go back but we can't afford it any other way. It really sucks. I think maternity leave should be for 6 months and you should get a full paycheck! That's just my opinion and who am I to say.

8 weeks already

6 1/2 weeks already

Can someone tell me where the time goes? I can't believe that Emma is 6 1/2 weeks old already! It just amazes me! She has started to smile at you when you talk to her or make silly faces or noices at her. She has slept through the night quite a few times already. She is in her room in her crib which she is loving. She really is a great baby. The only time she is fussy is when she has to poop and won't go. Then she wants to be held all the time. Which is ok with my because there will come a day when she doesn't even want to hug me. Here are some pics we took yesterday. Enjoy!
