Baby's Heartbeat

Well, we went to the doctors today. All of my bloodwork came back fine, which is good. We got to hear the baby's heartbeat for the first time today. They said it sounded really really good. I haven't gained any weight yet which I find odd because I feel like I have and my once smaller waist has become much larger. But, according to the scale, same as last month. The doctor said I looked really good and I told her how wonderful I felt. She couldn't believe I didn't have any morning sickness or nausiousness. I go back in four weeks and in eight weeks we get the 3D ultrasound done. I can't wait. Everything else is quiet. I will keep everyone posted.

11 Weeks

Well, we are now 11 weeks pregnant. Still feeling really great. Kari gave us her doppler machine. We tried to use it a few weeks ago, Aunt Hope gave us a HUGE bottle of gel, but it was too early. Now we can't get it to turn on. We go to the doctors on Tuesday to hear the heartbeat. We can't wait. We had our first ultrasound done at our first office visit. It's on our fridge. At 20 weeks we will be having the 3D ultrasound done. I can bring in a VHS and the docotor can tape it for me so I will always have it. Which is really cool. We are still house hunting. We really like one we looked at the other day. We are still deciding whether or not to bid on it. None of my pre-pregnancy pants fit anymore and the shirts are all too short. Apparently I am going to be like my mother was . I have got to get some pictures on here so you can see as I get bigger and bigger. Maybe I will do that tomorrow....soon I promise. Everything else is going great. No cravings lately. I'll keep you posted.

Hello Everyone. It's been a while and I figured I should update everyone. We've been busy. We are now 10 weeks pregnant. The first tri-mester is almost over. I still feel really good. Eating lots of fruit. My first craving was sprite with cherries.... wierd because I dont' like white soda. Anyways, we are still looking for a house, or debating whether or not we are going to hold off and stay here for a little while. We are not sure. Eric is still nervous about the baby. He's stressed cus he says there is just too much to do before the baby get's here. I tried to explain to him that we have plenty of time but he just doesn't get it. He says it will be here before we know it. I"m sure it will go fast but there is really nothing to do except get the baby's room together and move Tara downstairs. I don't know. All in all everything is going well.

Here we go.

Well, This is my first attempt at having a blog. It's kind of exciting. To catch everyone up.... We found out we were pregnant on March 9, 2006. I called the doctors right away and they said we were 5 weeks, according to the date of my last period. We went to our first doctors appointment on Monday, March 26. It was quite interesting. They didn't do a pregnancy test. They had me pee in a cup and then they did an ultrasound. We got to see the baby's heartbeat, which was 145. The nurse said that was good. Then the doctor came in and talked to us and gave us a whole bunch of papers and scripts for me to go have bloodwork done. Our official due date in November 14, 2006. We are sooooo excited. So far I feel really really good. I have had no nausea or vomitting, I really haven' been tired and I actually feel really really good. The only thing I can't stand the smell of is popcorn. But besides that, anything goes.
I"m still trying to figure out how to set this up so bare with me while I get started.
